Modern Terminals names chief commercial officer, general manager

CONTAINER terminal operator Modern Terminals Limited in Hong Kong has appointed Peter Levesque as chief commercial officer and Shirley Pang as general manager of supply chain.

Mr Levesque is responsible for the Modern Terminals' sales organisation, a company statement said. He brings to Modern Terminals over 20 years experience having worked in Asia since 1996.

Before joining the group, he served as senior vice president of International Logistics Solutions for CEVA Logistics' Global Ocean Products and as vice president of International Supply Chain for DHL. In 2000, he co-founded V-Logic Limited, a 3PL company based in Hong Kong, after having held several management positions with APL, including managing director of APL Logistics for North Asia.

Ms Pang has been tasked with leading the delivery of viable solutions for logistics companies and end users across Modern Terminal's business units.

Ms Pang has more than 25 years of experience in ocean, consolidation, transportation and logistics industry. Before joining the group, she served as business development director, Ocean Plus Products, Asia Pacific, at CEVA Logistics, after having held sales and marketing management positions at both Sea-Land and APL Logistics.
