GERMANY's Hapag-Lloyd 7,506-TEU Berlin Express has docked at West Shenzhen's Da Chan Bay Terminal One, its last port of call on the 18-ship second Loop B of the weekly Grand Alliance Asia-North Europe Service.
The Da Chan Bay Terminal One (DCB) handled the cargo during its maiden call at the newest, first class terminal, run by Hong Kong's Modern Terminals. The Berlin Express will be joined by larger sister ships averaging 8,500 TEU in size.
Offering 25 days transit from Shenzhen to Hamburg the service rotation is Busan, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Shekou, Shenzhen-Da Chan Bay, Singapore, Suez Canal, Hamburg, Antwerp, Southampton, Port Said, Jeddah and Jebel Ali, calling at Da Chan Bay every Tuesday.
