Tianjin plans to build world-class aviation industrial base

TIANJIN government has announced a plan to create a world-class aviation industrial base over the next decade within its Binhai New Area, Xinhua reports.


Binhai New Area will build eight international and domestic bases serving the aviation, petrochemical, machinery manufacturing, electronics, pharmaceutical, energy and textile sectors.


Tianjin will also accelerate the development of its railway network covering north, east and northeast China hinterland regions, upgrade expressways linking Beijing, Tangshan, and build new ones linking its north and south port areas, and other Bohai Rim Region cities.
