THE annual Breakbulk Transportation Conference and Exhibition will take place October 13 to 15 at the Ernest N Morial Convention Centre in New Orleans.
This year's event will feature the industry's biggest collection of exhibitors and two days of panels that will examine the breakbulk sector, its key emerging markets and regions where the breakbulk industry is making a comeback.
"This is our 20th anniversary producing the event which has over two decades explored many changes to the breakbulk cargo industry," said conference director Liam Power. "It's no secret the global recession of the past year has been one of the worst. However, momentum is beginning to build for a new cycle of breakbulk recovery, which is something that we plan to delve into this year."
The 20th Annual Breakbulk Transportation Conference and Exhibition, sponsored by Newark's Journal of Commerce, will feature a keynote address by John Mika, senior vice president of procurement at Ch2M Hill.
