New Deep-Water Port in ThailandOct 30, 2007

Kerry Siam Seaport announced it will open Thailand's largest privately-run deep-sea port at Laem Chabang by early next year, reports PortWorld. The port is 14.5 m. deep and will have 4 conventional terminals and 2 container terminals. It will be able to handle up to 4 mn tones of general cargo and up to 400 thousand TEU per year.
