OOCL starts direct China-Red Sea service

OOCL has started purchasing slots on Cosco's Far East-Red Sea service (FRX), to offer customers a China-South East Asia-Red Sea service.

Cosco's FRX service connects Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Shekou and Singapore to Aden, Jeddah, Sokhna, Aqaba and Yantian, reports Alphaliner.

It said, "OOCL serves Jeddah with the Grand Alliance Loop A and used to serve the other Red Sea ports by transshipment."
