China-Denmark trade grows fast

According to statistics of Denmark, trade with China has been growing faster than with any of its other major trading partners. Trade in the service industry has become an important part of the bilateral trade.

In 2007 China became the fourth largest importer of Danish products and services.

According to statistics of China's customs, trade between China and Denmark reached 6.4 billion USD in 2007.

By the end of 2007, Denmark had 504 companies in China, with contracts of 2.2 billion USD and the actual investment of 1 billion USD. The actual investment in 2007 was 124 times that of 1982 when Danish companies began to invest in China.
