China to export engines in bulk to Russia

Feb 27, 2009 Trade

Guangxi-based Yuchai Machinery Company recently signed a supply and marketing agreement with a Russian distribution enterprise involving engines worth 10 million yuan.

This is the first time Chinese engines will be exported in bulk to Russia as a single product. Yuchai has China's largest diesel engines production base and to date, its products have been exported to over 40 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, the Americas and Africa. Its independently-developed YC6M series heavy-duty diesel engines, in particular, exhibit outstanding performance in Russia's high altitude and cold areas.

The Russian distribution enterprise signed the agreement intending to purchase a large order because it believes that Yuchai's products have a high cost performance ratio, and will be popular among clients in Russia, especially since the country has been greatly affected by the financial crisis.
