Hong Kong Post and the post authority of the Republic of Korea (ROK) signed an understanding memorandum here Wednesday, setting up a new e-commerce collaboration to offer customers a wide selection of popular products and e-merchants.
Speaking at the memorandum of understanding signing ceremony, Acting Postmaster General YF Chan said Hong Kong has seen strong growth of outward mail traffic generated by Internet trade.
We strongly believe that postal administrations should collaborate more closely to grasp the business opportunities of this blooming Internet trade and counteract the potential negative impact of the latest economic turmoil, he added.
Chan said collaboration with other postal administrations on e-commerce is underway.
