China Looks at ROK, Thailand Acid Imports

The Ministry of Commerce said Thursday it would start an anti-dumping investigation against terephthalic acid from Thailand and the Republic of Korea.

The ministry said it would examine the scale of the alleged dumping and its damage to the domestic industry.

Terephthalic acid is an organic compound used in polyester coatings and resins.
