Evaluation report on the Beijing Summit of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation released

On December 25, the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies held a press conference in Shanghai and released a research report entitled Beijing Summit of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation: Evaluation and Outlook.

The report reviews the development of the international environment as well as the situations in China and Africa starting in November 2006 when the Beijing Summit and Third Ministerial Conference of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation took place.

It evaluates the results of the implementation and achievements made in the Beijing Summit over the past two years. It also explores the international community's initial and evolving reactions on the summit, and analyzes possible developments of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation for the next 10 to 15 years.
