Vietnam's industrial output is expected to reach 601,478 billion Vietnamese dong (about 35 billion U.S. dollars) in the first 11 months this year, an increase of 15.5 percent over the same period last year, the local newspaper People's Army reported on Thursday, citing the source with the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI).
In November alone, the national industrial output is estimated to grasp 55,239 billion Vietnamese dong (about 3.25 billion U.S. dollars), up three percent compared with October's figure and an increase of 15 percent over the same period last year, said MPI.
Of the total industrial output, 24.2 percent were made by state- owned enterprises, while private took up 35 percent and foreign- invested enterprises achieved 40.8 percent.
