Gome to Issue a Notice this Morning

The spokesman of Gome said earlier today (Monday) that the company will issue a notice in response to the media report that its chairman Huang Guangyu has been under investgation for market manipulation around 11 a.m., Sina Finance reports.

The spokesman stressed that the company was in normal operation and its dealers had also expressed their support for Gome despite the report of Huang's market manipulation. But he said the company wouldn't hold a news conference today.

China's home-appliance tycoon Huang Guangyu is reportely under investigation for market manipulation. According to unnamed sources close to Huang, Huang was taken away by investigators late Wednesday.
