China's individual business households reach 27.59 million

China's individual business has undergone steady growth in recent years. By the end of June in 2008, the individual business households registered in the industry and commerce administration authorities reached 27.59 million, 176,000 households more than the number by the end of 2007, according to State Administration for Industry & Commerce.

Meanwhile, the personnel involved in individual business reached 56.09 million, rising by 1.13 million. The capital amounts to 805.2 billion yuan, increasing by 70.1 billion yuan.

In addition, compared to the numbers by the end of 2007, the number of individual business households, the personnel involved in individual business and the capital grow respectively by 0.64%, 2.06%and 9.53% by the end of June in 2008.
