Beijing: China coal imports reach 164.83m tons in 2010, up 30.99% year on year and coal exports drop 15.03%, reported by a local media.
The National Development and Reform Commission said Indonesia was the largest coal exporter to China, followed by Australia, Vietnam, Mongolia and Russia. The five accounted for 84% of the nation's coal imports.
Coal net imports stood at 145.8m tons in 2010, up 29% from the last year.
