Economic officials of China's Taiwan along with 107 Taiwanese company representatives are on an economic mission in Indonesia to promote their products as well as strengthen bilateral trade, the Jakarta Post reported on Friday.
"It is my honor to bring 107 delegates to visit Indonesia to enhance mutual cooperation in trade and investment between Taiwan and Indonesia," Taiwan's senior economic official Shih Yen Shiang told a press conference Thursday.
According to the press statement, Taiwan's delegation is scheduled to be in Indonesia from Thursday to Sunday and will join exhibitions and discussions.
Shih also said the representatives would hold a "Taiwan Excellence Experiencing Zone" on Friday to promote its ICT products.
A numbers of companies such as Acer, Adata, Aiptek, Asus, Avermedia Information, BenQ and D-Link are among companies showcasing their products for three days at Kelapa Gading Mall in North Jakarta.
