SINGAPORE's external trade of non-oil domestic exports (NODX) dropped slightly month to month by 0.1 per cent in May, but grew 24 per cent year on year, yet narrowed on April's 30 per cent year on year increase.
The city state's top 10 NODX markets were noticeably up year on year with China, Hong and Japan leading by increases of 64 per cent, 51 per cent and 66 per cent respectively.
Non-oil re-exports (NORX) were up on month previous at 5.1 per cent from 0.6 per cent with a year-on-year increase of 23 per cent following April's electronic and non-electronic NORX 19 per cent rise.
