FUJIAN province's trade with Taiwan recorded a value of US$2.4 billion during the first quarter, which is double the value of the same period a year ago, making Taiwan Fujian's largest trading partner, Logistics Week reported.
Exports to Taiwan jumped 59 per cent to $450 million while imports soared 110 per cent to $1.9 billion.
In this period, the southeastern province's imports and exports came to US$22.9 billion in value, up 45.3 per cent year on year. Export value increased 36.5 per cent to $14.8 billion. Import value surged 65 per cent to $8.1 billion.
