Ministry of Economical Development and Trade Singed 6 Car Production Projects

On September,14 the Russian Ministry of economical development and trade with the foreign concerns

singed 6 memorandums on car production organization, reports Kommersant quoting Dmitry Levchenkov,

the deputy of the investment department of the ministry.

According to D.Levchenkov, the real agreements will have been singed by the end of the current

year. Due to the estimates of the Ministry if all these projects are realized the total investment

volume will be about $1.7 bn.

It should be pointed out that since September, 15 the Ministry stopped to sing such agreements due

to the act approved by the Ministry of industry and energy, by the Ministry of economical

development and trade and by the Ministry of finance. It is expected that during this week the act

will be resisted by the Ministry of Justice.

The full list of concerns is not announced. According to D.Levchenkov, some projects were

announced earlier (for instance, car production of Isuzu trucks and FIAT models), but there are

some new.
