SNCF Geodis stages exhibition at Dubai trade show

SNCF Geodis, the logistics branch of the French rail company SNCF, is showcasing its activities at the International Week of Transport and Logistics this week at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

At SITL Dubai, SNCF Geodis will be located in the Sheikh Rashid Hall at booth G01 and is to focus on three major areas: global supply chain optimisation, which is the group's new 4PL offer; logistics services presented by Geodis Logistics and freight management represented by Geodis Wilson.

 

Geodis Wilson, the freight management division has its own presence in the region with offices located in Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Dubai is the company's main hub for combined sea-air transport options. Geodis Wilson also handles huge volumes of project cargo for the oil & gas industry, as well as a wide variety of sea and air freight commodities.

The logistics and freight arm of the French rail company is the fourth-largest transport and logistics operator in Europe, with revenue of EUR8 billion (US$11.71 billion) and 50,000 employees.
