Hanjin Shipping adds new service between South Asia/Middle East and U.S. East Coast

Hanjin Shipping is pleased to announce that it is adding a new service between South Asia/Middle East and the U.S. East Coast effective from the end of July. Named AWZ (All Waters Suez), this service is currently operated by APL and Hanjin Shipping will be chartering slots to provide its customers with easier access to the growing markets including Sri Lanka, southern India, Bangladesh and the Middle East.
Also, the company expects the current transit time from Singapore to New York to improve significantly as it will be reduced from 29 days to 21 days.
Meanwhile, Hanjin Shipping is continuing its efforts to develop new services and expand the scope of its network in order to provide top quality service to its customers.
