Weekly service connects U.S. Northeast with South America
Seaboard Marine said it will launch a weekly fixed day sailing from Brooklyn, N.Y. to and from Colombia. Calls in Colombia include the ports at Cartagena, Barranquilla and Santa Marta.
The service will connect with service to and from Venezuela, Trinidad, Barbados, Suriname and Guyana. The connecting service will call Guanta, Guaranao, Isla Margrita, La Guaira and Puerto Cabello in Venezuela.
The intended schedule is as follows: Brooklyn (Mondays), Cartagena (on an eight day transit to Tuesdays), Barranquilla (Wednesdays), Santa Marta (Wednesdays), Brooklyn (Mondays).
