75,000-dwt product carrier naming ceremony

Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) successfully delivered the biggeset vessel HMD has ever built, Hull No. 2070 out of four 75,000 PC series. There was a naming ceremony for Hull No. 2070 on March 27th. On that day, a number of guests from the owner, GEM, and HMD attended to greet her first voyage. The vessel was named GULF CASTLE by CEO of GEM, Mr. Ahmed al Falahi. It measures 228m in length, 32.25m in width, and 20.5m in depth. After the ceremony, the vessel sailed out to Russia for her first shipment.
