CMA CGM hikes Asia-Med rates US$150 per TEU from June 1

FRENCH Shipping line CMA CGM has announced the continuation of its programme of rate increases on Asia-Mediterranean routes.

Westbound, Asia to west Med, Black Sea Adriatic and east Med, rates will increase US$150 per TEU and $200 per FEU from June 1:

Eastbound, west Med, Black Sea, Adriatic, east Med to Asia, they will rise $150 per container from July 1, said a statement from the company, rated as the world's third largest container shipping line.

CMA CGM has taken this decision to keep providing reliable and efficient services, said the Marseilles-based company.
