Carsten Spohr to remain at helm of Lufthansa Cargo

THE chairman and CEO of Lufthansa Cargo, Carsten Spohr, has been elected by the supervisory board to remain at his posts, after deciding to renew his contract for five years until January 2015.

Mr Spohr assumed the role of company CEO on January 15, 2007, initially for a three-year term.

Before his appointment as CEO and chairman of Lufthansa Cargo, Mr Spohr was a member of the management board of Lufthansa Passenger Airlines, a company release said.
