Offshore is set to play a far more pivotal role for the world’s fourth largest shipyard. South Korea's STX Shipbuilding has changed its name to STX Offshore and Shipbuilding. With its global portfolio of yards STX is aiming to play a big role in the construction of drillships, FSUs, LNG FPSOs, etc.
