As part of its winter program, Zim Integrated Shipping Services is restructuring Transpacific Gulf Service, the AGX.
During this period, Zim will return to a feeder operation to and from the Gulf ports of Tampa, Mobile and Houston utilizing its America’s transshipment hub, Kingston, Jamaica.
Zim will continue to offer weekly service utilizing two 3000 TEU vessels, synchronizing the schedule to meet with its ZCS service which has been revamped to include Pusan in its rotation: Shekou, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Pusan, Balboa, Kingston, Savannah, New York and Halifax.
Zim remains committed to serving the U.S. Gulf and its customers will continue to enjoy service to and from the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Asian trade lanes.
Zim will monitor market conditions with the expectation of returning Asia/Gulf Express Service to its original service pattern.
