Intermarine adjusts bunker surcharge

Intermarine, the agent for Industrial Maritime Carriers and West Coast Industrial Express, on Monday revised the carriers' bunker surcharge, beginning Feb. 1

   To the North, East and West coasts of South America, including the Caribbean and Mexico, the surcharge will be $36 per weight/measure for breakbulk cargo, $370 per TEU and $650 per FEU.

   The previous surcharges in effect were $41 w/m, $395 per TEU, and $695 per FEU. The surcharges apply to all inbound and outbound cargoes.
