OOCL achieves AEO certification

OOCL (France) SA has been accredited as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO), effective January 1st.

The AEO certificate is an internationally recognised quality mark confirming that OOCL (France) can be considered a secure trader and a reliable trading partner, eyefortransport reports.

Customs audits indicate that the role of OOCL (France) in the international supply chain is secure, has proven solvency, and that the customs controls and procedures performed are efficient and compliant.

The AEO concept constitutes a main element of the Customs Security Program of the European Union, which has agreed on improved measures of security in combination with customs simplifications.
