MOL re-ups with GT Nexus

Japanese carrier MOL has renewed and expanded its agreement with GT Nexus to provide e-commerce services, the Oakland, Calif.-based company said Wednesday.

   MOL has for eight years used GT Nexus’ portal, which provides a range of on-demand supply chain automation services.

   MOL said in a statement it uses GT Nexus because it recognizes some of its customers want to have access to many carriers through one portal, as well as for supply chain visibility capabilities that go beyond ocean transactional services.   Financial details of the agreement weren't disclosed, nor was the duration.
