Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK), the world's largest cruise vacation company, and Iverson Gaming Systems, Inc., a leading global gaming industry solutions company, today announced that they finalized an agreement to develop and implement a new, customized integrated casino management accounting system supporting all Carnival brands.

The new system – CMAS (Casino Management Accounting System) -- is expected to significantly improve financial controls and operating efficiencies by harmonizing casino accounting systems across Carnival Corporation's various brands and lines.

"Carnival's rapid, continuing growth has been built, in part, by acquiring strong cruise brands over the years. Each of these operations came to us with established accounting and operational systems that were to some extent unique, presenting a challenge in integrating them into a uniform financial controls system. The new CMAS system will address this challenge by integrating financial information flows from casino operations from all Carnival brands. The result will be improved operational control and cost efficiencies overall. We are pleased to be working with our long-time partner – Iverson Gaming Systems – in deploying this important solution for Carnival," noted Rodney C. Dofort, VP of Casino Operations for Carnival Corporation.

Joanne Iverson, President of Iverson Gaming Systems, Inc., commented, "'After a highly successful installation of the Iverson slot and player tracking system on the Carnival, Princess, and Holland America ships, Carnival Corporation has engaged Iverson to develop an integrated casino financial system to tie together all of the Carnival Corporation brands. This new solution will draw on one of our key strengths: the ability to customize solutions to address specific customer requirements. This agreement is an important milestone for Iverson as we grow into new markets in the global gaming industry."

Carnival Corporation & plc is the largest cruise vacation group in the world, with a portfolio of cruise brands in North America, Europe and Australia, comprised of Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, The Yachts of Seabourn, AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard Line, Ibero Cruises, Ocean Village, P&O Cruises and P&O Cruises Australia.
