Sep 28, 2008 Shipping

South African police have arrested 14 people in connection with the theft of five ocean containers in August in the Port of Durban, South Africa's biggest container gateway.

The containers, being shipped from Korea to Johannesburg, were carrying roughly $75,000 worth of electrical appliances, South African news agency SAPA reported. The accused are said to have claimed the containers using false documents, authorities said.
