Zim increases slot charter with China Shipping Container Lines

Zim Integrated Shipping Services has increased its slot charter agreement with China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) on the Asia Europe Service, AEX1, to total 3,750 TEUs weekly.

First Westbound sailing to apply the increased agreement is CSCL Le Havre ETA Ningbo October 18th.

This agreement is complimentary to the termination of Zim's independent EWX service.

During the second half of 2009 Zim will commence its deployment of the newly built 8,200 to 10,000 TEU vessels on the trade between Asia and Europe.
