Germanischer Lloyd to classify 13,100-TEU Korean-built ships

Germanischer Lloyd on Tuesday signed a contract to classify seven mega-containerships to be built by Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan, Korea.

GL will classify the 13,100-TEU ships, which will be built in 2010 to 2012 to be delivered to German ship owner MPC Capital.
