TORM names Skov as interim CEO

A/S Dampskibsselskabet TORM said today that Chief Operating Officer Mikael Skov will also assume the role of interim chief executive officer until Jacob Meldgaard is ready to join.

The Danish tanker and bulk-shipping operator previously announced that Meldgaard, executive vice president in charge of dry cargo at Dampskibsselskabet NORDEN A/S, will take over as CEO from Klaus Kjulff, who is leaving TORM after 33 years, including the last eight as CEO. TORM said Kjulff would continue to be available in resolving specific tasks and projects.
