In the framework of Russian Day conference in Shanghai Valery Korotkikh, the deputy director of Transcontainer, told about the company's development plans  up to the year 2030.


According to him, Transcontainer has to increase container traffic by 5 times. It is planned to come to such a result in two stages. At first stage (up to 2015) Transcontainer is to become a Russian 3PL-operator and Euro-Asian forwarder. The most important ways of development – container transportation,  freight forwarding and complex logistics.


At the second stage (2016-2030) the transport capacity of Russia must be increased due to the rail roads development.   


By the year of 2030 it is planned to have built about 20 thousand km of new rail roads, to have bought more than 23 thousand locomotives and about 1 mn of freight cars.


As a result the transport capacity of the gross domestic product has to fall by 1.9 times and the multiplicative effect has to totaled 40 trillion rubles.


The average delivery speed will increase by 26%, containerized cargo volume - by 62.7 times. 97% of cargoes will be delivered in the schedule date.
