Turnover of BLRT Group reached 2.9 bln kroons in 2008

The sales in the first half of the year 2008 generated by BLRT Group grew by 38.4% in the year-on-year comparison, writes EPL Online. The company’s turnover reached nearly 2.9 billion kroons.

BLRT Group earned a profit of nearly 460 million kroons during the period of time in question, increasing it by 40% in comparison to the previous year.

Sales of metals was the biggest sales article in the first half of the year with 858.5 million kroons.

BLRT Group has 65 subsidiaries in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, Finland and in Norway. The group’s enterprises in Estonia employ nearly 2,000 individuals and its units abroad have approximately the same number of workers.
