DryShips (DRYS) Will Charter Three Cargo Vessels

DryShips (Nasdaq: DRYS) today announced it has signed several short-term charter agreements for two of its Capesize and one of its Panamax vessels with first class charterers. Specifically, the MV Samsara will be chartered at a daily rate of $139,000 and started November 7, the MV Brisbane will be chartered at a daily rate of $145,000 starting December 1, 2007 and the MV Marbella will be chartered at a daily rate of $82,500 starting November 15, 2007.
