CLARIFICATION: OOCL first half earnings

A report in Thursday's Shippers NewsWire on OOCL's first half earnings failed to accurately describe the net profit of the Hong Kong carrier's container and logistics division, which actually declined 31 percent from the same period in 2002, to $158 million.
