Online ocean trade Web portal INTTRA on Monday said Valerie Rainey has been named its new chief financial officer.
Prior to joining INTTRA, Rainey was director of finance at Pitney Bowes in its international mail services division, where Rainey integrated acquisitions, streamlined processes, instituted internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing.
Rainey brings forth significant experience in areas such as e-commerce, strategic alliances, operations and finance, INTTRA said in a statement. As CFO, Rainey will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial modeling and process improvements.
INTTRA also said Monday it has landed Costa Container Lines, a division of the Hamburg Sud Group, to join its global carrier network -- initially for Brazil and Argentina. That brings the total number of member carriers to 22. CCL trades between South, Central and North America, the Mediterranean and Africa.
