LNG focus bringing name change for NYK Bulkship (Europe)

NYK Bulkship (Europe) Ltd., a subsidiary of Japan抯 NYK Group, said it will change its name Aug. 1 to NYK LNG (Atlantic) Ltd.

The company said the change is being made to recognize its dedication to liquefied natural gas and disposal of non-LNG tonnage to another NYK unit as well as the geographical focus of its activities from west of Suez to the United States.

No management or staff changes will occur as a result of the name change.

We believe that this increased focus on LNG shipping will further enable us to improve the services and solutions offered to our customers, NYK said.
