Shipyards to Enter United Shipbuilding Corporation in 2008

At the beginning 2008 the shares of some shipbuilding ventures will be convey to the United Shipbuilding Corporation. This was announced by head of the Federal Industry Agency (Rosprom) Andrey Dutov, reports RBC.

According to him, all documents concerning the United Shipbuilding Corporation’ Registration have been already sent to the RF president’s administration. "The corporation will be registered within 3 day after we receive approval", - added he.

Besides, it was said that all design offices and ventures the shares of which will form the corporation’s stock, have already sent their document for corporalization. It is planned that they will have been reincorporated as joint-stock companies by the end of the current year.

It should be pointed out that the United Shipbuilding Corporation is being establish due to the act signed by president of Russia Vladimir Putin on March, 22 2007. A 100% share of the corporation will be controlled by the state.
