Compania Sud Americana de Vapores is about to reconnect its Pacific Caribbean (PACAR) service with the Far East just a few months after turning it into a dedicated Mexico/Central America/North Coast South America loop.

The Chilean carrier said it will independently operate the revised service with eight vessels of 2,500 TEUs on a weekly frequency, starting in Asia on June 1. The port rotation will be Busan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Manzanillo, Cartagena, Rio Haina, Cartagena, Manzanillo and back to Busan.
