Unmoved by US calls, Cosco signs locomotive export deal with Iran

COSCO Shipping has signed contract of affreightment (COA) with Beijing Cosco International Freight Co Ltd (Cosfreight) on the export of locomotives to Iran.


CEO of Cosco Shipping Guojing, deputy general manager of Cosfreight Xu Pengwei attended as witness at the contract signing ceremony.


Cosco general manager Wu Liangming and Beijing Coscofreight's general manager Wang Wanxiang signed the contract. The two parties held talks on further cooperation after the ceremony.


This is the first specific project of cooperation between the two parties after they entered strategic cooperation agreement last year.
