Provincial Pearl River expressway pass to be general issue

GUANGDONG provincial authorities plan to roll out common annual pass for expressways in Shenzhen, Dongguan and Huizhou to facilitate the economic integration in the Pearl River Delta, Xinhua reports.


Li Miaojuan, director of the Guangdong Development and Reform Commission, said that the province this year will implement schemes for regional economic integration and cooperation of the three major economic rings of Guangzhou, Foshan , Zhaoqing; Shenzhen, Dongguan, Huizhou, as well as Zhuhai, Zhongshana and Jiangmen.


According to Guangdong's development plan this year, the province will speed up the Guangzhou-Foshan, Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen, Dongguan-Huizhou and Guangzhou-Zhuhai intercity railway projects and the construction of round-Pearl-River-Delta expressway.
