China shipbuilding volumes up 54.6% in 2010

China completed shipbuilding volume in 2010 is 65.6m dwt, increases 54.6% year on year, including 75.23m dwt newly received orders. citing the statistics from the nation's ministry of industry and information technology.

By the end of December 2010, orders in hand are 195.9m dwt, up 4.1% year on year.
