HONG KONG's OOCL has announced it will increase terminal handling charges for its China-Australia services starting January 3.
The terminal handling charge from China's mainland ports, except for Hainan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Guangdong, to and from all Australia destinations will be raised to US$92 per TEU and $135 per FEU.
The charge for 20-foot reefers and other containers will be $107 each, reports Newark's Journal of Commerce. The charge for 40-foot reefers, high cube containers and other containers will be $150 each.
