Germany's Hapag-Lloyd has announced it will carry out an extended winter programme for the AES Atlantic Express Shuttle (AES Service) and then suspend it until market volume returns.
This adjustment will come into effect for westbound route after December 14, date of last sailing from Antwerp, and eastbound after December 18, date of last sailing from New York.
The carrier will continue to cover the North Atlantic trade through other Lloyd-Lloyd services during the winter programme.
The schedule for relenting the AES will be released later based on the demand.
