ISRAELI flag carrier Zim has entered in a slot exchange agreement with Hapag-Lloyd on the Northern Europe/West Africa trade.
Zim and Hapag-Lloyd will take slots on MOL's ARN service, which calls at Antwerp, Thamesport, Dakar, Tema, Lagos (Tin Can Island), Abidjan, Vigo and Antwerp.
The ARN service uses three 2,000-TEU ships operated by MOL, according to ComPair Data.
In return, MOL will take slots of Zim's NAF service, which Hapag-Lloyd calls WAX and has a port rotation of Amsterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Dakar, Tin Can Island, Tema, Abidjan, San Pedro and Amsterdam.
The NAF service is operated with three 1,717-TEU vessels, two of which are provided by Hapag-Lloyd and one by Zim.
