GRAND ALLIANCE members Hapag-Lloyd, Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) and Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) have announced this year's winter programme between the Far East and Europe in which capacity will be cut to meet shrinking seasonal demand.
Loop D will offer bi-weekly sailings to ensure continuation of the service, a temporary adjustment was implemented effective westbound week 40 from Busan, October 2 and last until March, said a statement from NYK.
The Grand Alliance will continue to offer three services between North Europe and the Far East, covering all major ports with weekly sailings, it said.
